Popped in for a coffee whilst on a walk , the fact you let's dogs in is a major plus. The young lady behind the counter was absolutely amazing and friendly, even had a pup cup for the dog. Excellent work, keep it up.

Love that this place is dog friendly. I have only come in here for takeaway coffee and cake. The coffee I don’t believe has more shots the larger you go as big sizes seem to be very weak. 80% of the staff are great and nice!

We had beans on toast, the portion was gigantic! Lots of bread and beans and chilli flakes on top with salad ! I didn't expect it! So we paid 5,50 for this big portion. If you Google 5,50 for a plate of beans is still expensive though.

Esquires Coffee is a huge asset to Uppingham. All the staff are delightful and greet me with a warm welcome, ever since I first visited. Back in the 1990s to early 2000s I used to visit Boston, Mass, USA many times. The independent coffee bars were my favourite places to visit. I’ve never experienced this in the U.K. until I visited Esquire Coffee in Uppingham. Their coffee is superb. I now visit every morning to get my morning coffee fix. The biscuits are also delicious and a perfect accompaniment to any drink. I’ve met the owner and he is a really passionate person who cares about his business. A lot of time, effort and money has gone into this venture and I wish everyone all the best for the future ! I’ve personally recommended Esquires Coffee to many friends and colleagues, all of whom praised them and said they will return again.

Popped in today with friend from out of town I had my usual flat white (great as always) and she had a pot of Earl Grey we fancied a 2nd drink as atmosphere was good so I ordered another flat white and a pot of boiling water as she just needed a top up (no charge for the water). After a while we fancied a bite to eat so my friend ordered what we thought looked good and at a decent price & after half an hour nothing came so she nipped to the counter to see what the delay was and the young man straight away said he’d forgotten the order no problem really but maybe a little frustrating but within 10 minutes our food was in front of us with so many apologies and offers of a totally refunded visit etc etc in my opinion he really didn’t need to but it was appreciated mistakes happen in a workplace and it’s fine as it was rectified quickly so fair play to you all. Food was great for me coffee is the best in Uppingham. Sorry for the long review

First time we have ever been to an Esquires Coffee shop and we were very impressed. The staff in Uppingham were so friendly and helpful. The quality of the coffees and hot chocolate were excellent, as were the toasties we had, which are called Melts there. The menu range was very good. Will look forward to returning.

Best cafe we’ve ever been to!! Away for the weekend and came across Esquires…SO impressed. Clean, very nicely decorated, spacious, but still had a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Staff were lovely. Amazing menu, lots of options and great value. Food was divine, enjoyed both something savoury and sweet, and coffee was lovely (very generous sizes too). Lovely additional touches - help yourself water station, interactive game desk and lovely mini library where you can loan/swap books. No complains at all about anything. Will be coming back to Uppingham just for this place again. 10/10 thank you so much :)
